In Loving Memory of David Keith Young

David Keith Young, age 49, departed this world on a serene Sunday morning, October 29, 2023, in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Born on March 5, 1974, David's life was a testament to the profound love he held for racing, camping, and the precious moments he shared with his grandchildren, who lovingly referred to him as Pop Pop.

David's life was blessed with the presence of his beloved family. His mother, Shelba Diane Godfrey, and stepfather, Kenneth Harold Godfrey, provided unwavering support and love. His father, Leonard Keith Young, and brother, Kenneth Preston Young, shared a bond that transcended words, a connection only brothers can truly understand.

David held a special place in his heart for his grandmother, Nina Katie Andrews. Her wisdom and warmth were a guiding light in his life. His sister, Tirinia Kate Pina-Atanacio, was not just a sibling but a confidante, sharing secrets and dreams.

David's legacy lives on through his children: his son, Cody Austin Dakota Young, and his daughter, Whitlee Shae Lawless. In Corey Steven Lawless, his son-in-law, he found a kindred spirit and a treasured addition to the family.

The true joy of David's life was his grandchildren: Haidin Kate Rogers, Amberly Storm Lawless, Jasper Anthony Lawless, Camden Oaklen Lawless, Deklen Waylon Lawless, Lukas James Lawless, and Korlee Faithlynn Lawless. Each of them held a special place in his heart, and their memories will forever be a source of love and light.

Nieces Angela Lynn Tapia and Rosa Maria Young, as well as several great nieces and nephews, were a part of the extended family that David held dear.

David Keith Young's life was a testament to love, connection, and the profound impact one person can have on those they leave behind. His warmth, his laughter, and his boundless love will be deeply missed, but the memories of his kindness will forever be cherished in the hearts of those who knew him. May he rest in eternal peace.

A Memorial Service be planned by the family at a later date.
