David Perry Pritchett”Fender”, 76 of Cleveland, departed this life on Sunday, June 27, 2021 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Born in Dalton, Georgia on November 22, 1944 to the late Kermit and Nola Mae Scott Pritchett, he was a longtime resident of Bradley County and a member of Spring Place Church of God of Prophecy. He loved old cars, and going to cruise ins and races.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Kermit Pritchett, Jr.; and sister, Betty Pritchett.
Survivors include his loving wife of 53 years, Emma Kate; daughters Lisa and David Geren and Shannon Pritchett; brother, Eugene and Doris Pritchett; grandchildren, Chase and Cassidy Blackwell, Tyler, Brett, and Maggie; great-grandson, Declynn; and 2nd great-grandson, Rayden”David” ; several nieces, nephews, and extended family and a host of friends.
The family would like to extend their deep appreciation to the nurses and Debra from Amedysis Hospice for their compassionate care and a special thank you to his caregiver Salenia Sizemore.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks memorial contributions be made to the local chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association
Private family services will be held on Friday, July 2, 2021 at Flint Springs Church Cemetery.
