David Neal Livesay, Sr. aged 64, passed away on January 6th, 2024, in Fort Oglethorpe, GA. He was born on January 22, 1959, in Lafayette, Indiana, and spent most of his life in the Northwest Georgia/East Tennessee Area. David was a devoted member of the Seventh Day Adventist faith and also attended Rising Fawn Methodist Church, where he actively participated in their in-house food drive for several years. After a successful career spanning over 30 years, David retired from Dart Trucking & Co. in 2012, where he worked as a truck driver.
David was preceded in death by his mother, Virginia M. Livesay, his father, Lonnie C. Livesay, and his son, Adam Lee Livesay. He is survived by his ex-wife, Kimberley Chapman, his sister, Della Livesay-Blanchard, and his seven children: Crystal Eddy, Amanda (Amber) Binkley, Christopher Livesay, Megahn Lands, Shawn Livesay, Lonnie (Araceli) Livesay, and Payton (B.J.) Wilkinson. Additionally, David leaves behind twelve grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to express their gratitude to Kristi Stockburger from Hearth Hospice and the staff members at PruittHealth for their exceptional care and support during this difficult time. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to be made to the Georgia Coalition Against Domestic Violence organization.
