David Kenneth Fletcher, 70, of Cleveland, passed away Tuesday, April 2, 2019, at a local hospital. David was a parishioner of St. Therese Catholic Church. He received his bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from the University at Buffalo in 1972 and his master's degree in engineering management from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga in 1995. After retiring from Honeywell, he became a licensed home inspector. He loved wood working. David was a man who could fix anything. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Mildred Fletcher.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife, Mary Catherine O'Neill Fletcher; children, Jennifer Fletcher Mize (Shane), Jeremy David Fletcher (Jenny), and Melissa Paige Lee (Michael); grandchildren, Nicholas Wesley and Braden Fletcher Mize; Jackson Tucker, Hudson O'Neill, and Bryson Monroe Fletcher; Megan Elizabeth and Matthew David Lee; siblings Russell Fletcher (Joanne) and Judith Richards (Al) as well as several nieces, nephews, and extended family.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 10 - 11 am at St Therese Catholic Church in Cleveland, TN. Fr. Michael F. Nolan will celebrate the funeral Mass at 11 am following visitation.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the ALS Association.
