The Angels invited David to the Everlasting Supper with God on July 13, 2024. He was 74, born on October 4, 1949 in Dublin GA. He was preceded in death by his parents E.C. "Carl" and Irene Andrews Grimes.
He was united in marriage to Mariette Gwiazdon Grimes on May 18, 2002. He leaves behind his children and grand children; Virginia Cartey (Jason, Jason Jr and Haze); David "Carl" Grimes (Shonda, David and Landon); Matthew Grimes (Rachel); Crystal Liesch (Katelyn and Tayler); Jeremy Kozikoski (Anastasia); and his sister Lisa Grimes.
He enjoyed working on old cars, slot cars, fishing, travel and using a can of spray paint.
Graveside services will be at Northview Cemetery, Dublin GA, the date to be determined.
