David Eldon Oates

David Eldon Oates, age 62 of Cleveland, departed this life on Sunday, February 27, 2022 at his home. Born on January 29, 1960 in Findlay, Ohio, he lived the past twelve years in Bradley County. David loved fishing, playing pool, watching movies, and spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his father, Eldon Oates; son, David Oates; and former spouse, Bert Paynter.
Left behind to cherish his memory are his children, Dawn Bratton, Brandy Lanagan(Rob), Krista Keckler(Heath), Kimmy Martin(Matt), and Brittany Oates; former spouse, Terrie Tiell; significant other for the past 12 years, Gail Oates; mother, Mona Curtis; siblings, Oren Oates(Ronda), Julie Martin; Kristi Oates(Rod Lambert), Josh Curtis; twenty-one grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; and several other extended family and a host of friends.
A Celebration of David’s life will be held privately at a later date.
