David Edward Atwood

David Edward Atwood, age 57 of Cleveland, departed this life on Tuesday, March 22, 2022 at Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga. Born on January 18, 1965 in Chattanooga, he was a lifelong resident of Hamilton and Bradley Counties and was a member of Highland Park Baptist Church. David loved music and spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jack Atwood and his mother, Betty Plott
Left behind to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Ova Atwood; daughter, Hailey Barker; grandchildren, Kaidance Clawson, Elijah Barker and Kelby Barker; sisters, Cathy Jaynes and Teresa Goodman; brothers, Michael Atwood and Jack Atwood, Jr. as well as several nieces, nephews, extended family and a host of friends.
A Celebration of Life and Home going will be held at 7p.m. Saturday, April 9, 2022 in the Cleveland Chapel of Companion Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends from 5 PM until the funeral hour on Saturday.
