David Davenport, age 53, of Old Fort, Tennessee, passed away on February 4, 2025. He was born in New Smyrna Beach, Florida. David was a devoted father, loving brother, and a cherished friend, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and devotion to his faith and family.
David was a lifelong Baptist and found peace in his relationship with God. He had a love for the outdoors, enjoying hunting, fishing, and camping, and cherished the time spent with his family. He was known for his warm heart and his willingness to lend a hand to anyone in need.
David was preceded in death by his parents, Earl J. Davenport and Mary M. Arnold Davenport; one brother, Robert E. Davenport; and one sister, Cindi Hill.
He is survived by his sons, Daniel P. Davenport of Epworth, and Colton Lee Davenport of Old Fort, TN; his daughter, Katelynn Davenport of Epworth; his siblings, Randy Davenport of Englewood, FL, Debbie Davenport of Cumming, GA, Diana Davenport of Ocala, FL, and Brenda Berger of Palatka, FL; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many beloved friends.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to David's caregivers-Scott & Tanya Verner, Barbara Dills, and Victoria Runnels. Their selfless devotion and incredible care for David were a daily demonstration of God's love.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, February 10, 2025, at Colwell Baptist Church Cemetery in Blue Ridge, GA.
