David Brian Lewallen, 60 a resident of Cleveland, TN passed away on Friday morning, March 21st, 2014 at his home surrounded by his family and friends. David was born in Athens, TN on May 31st, 1953 a son of the late Garland and Jean Lewallen. David was well known and respected in the street rod community, having proudly operated Lewallen Street Rod interiors, with a lifelong passion and desire for perfection and the God given talented ability to achieve those goals. As he followed his dream, he leaves behind many valued and cherished friendships from all walks of life. He was a beloved father and husband and will never be forgotten.

He leaves behind to cherish is memory his wife of nearly 40 years, Pam, two daughters, Kelsey and Kara Lewallen, one grandson, Tanner Lamberth all of Cleveland. a twin brother and sister in law, Don and Karen Lewallen of Chattanooga, TN. a sister and brother in law, Connie and Bill Allen of Decatur, Tn. Three nephews, Shane and Chance Allen of Decatur, and Kyle Freeman, a niece, Makayla Freeman , sister- in-law Jauna Freeman, mother and father-in-law Chris and Bill Ogle all of Georgetown, TN.

A celebration of his life is planned for Monday night, March 24th, 2014 at 7:00 PM at the Hopewell Church of God located at 5765 Eureka Road in Cleveland, TN with the Pastor Jerry Millwood officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 4:00 PM until the 7:00 PM service time on Monday.

In memory of his life and work, a final cruise will make its way through downtown Cleveland following the service.

In lieu of flowers a contribution may be made to a memorial in David's name for the purpose of awarding an outstanding achievement trophy for future car shows. Contributions will be accepted at Regions Bank after Tuesday, March 25, 2014.
