David Allen Armstrong

David Allen Armstrong, 62 of Cleveland, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, August 26, 2020. He enjoyed traveling, watching the Atlanta Braves and going to church to worship the Lord. He served as Sunday School Superintendent at his church. He loved his sister-in-law, Kathy Crump Kilgore, and little David. He loved going to the river at Bobby’s. He was always smiling. He was a loving husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Oliver Calvin and Ruby Lee Brock Armstrong.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife, Cindy Armstrong; children, Brandon Blair and Gabby Armstrong; sisters, Nancy Justice, Ann Simons, Frieda Eaton, and Linda Nicholson; brothers, Dennis and Bobby Armstrong all of Cleveland; and many nieces, nephews, family and friends.

The family will receive friends from 5:00PM until 8:00PM on Saturday, August 29, 2020 at Philadelphia Missionary Baptist Church located at 910 30th Street NE in Cleveland. Additional visitation will be held at the church from 2:00PM until 3:00PM on Sunday, August 30, 2020. A Celebration of Life Service will begin at 3:00PM with Pastor Jason Barnes officiating. A committal service will follow in the Sunset Memorial Gardens.
