Darrell Goforth

Darrell G. Goforth, a devoted member of the Church of Christ and a loyal Tennessee Vols fan, passed away peacefully on September 13, 2023. Darrell enjoyed nothing more than drinking coffee and reading his Bible. He proudly served his country as a veteran of the US Navy. Darrell was a graduate of Calhoun High School and retired from Bowater Paper Mill.

Born to Ira B. Goforth and Della Mae Boring-Goforth, Darrell was preceded in death by his parents, daughter Tiffani Goforth-Drake, son Matthew Benjamin Goforth and his brother Curran Goforth. He is survived by his loving wife, Vicky Kiser-Goforth, son Darrell Timothy Goforth, daughter Jenny Goforth-Firth, and his brothers Delano and Darris Goforth. Darrell's legacy lives on through his many cherished grandchildren.

Darrell always had a smile for everyone and truly loved others. He will be remembered for his unwavering devotion to his family and faith, and will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
