Darlene Tramel

Darlene Tramel (Mikel), age 61, passed away unexpectedly on July 26, 2024. Born to Don and Betty Mikel, Darlene's vibrant spirit touched the lives of everyone she encountered.

Darlene was a devoted mother to her daughter Nickie Russell (Eric) and her son Jason Pippenger. She cherished her role as a grandmother to Luca Pippenger, Juls Pippenger, Nora Russell, and Gabriella Pippenger, finding immense joy in their laughter and achievements.

She is also survived by her brothers Greg Mikel (Connie) and Jimmy Mikel, who shared countless memories and unwavering support throughout their lives. Her family extended further to include nephews Michael Wade and Tommy Hesson, niece Tabitha Wattson (Rodney) and their children Hayleigh and Hayden, who all held a special place in her heart.

Darlene was preceded in death by her parents, Don and Betty Mikel, and her sisters Sandra Gail Kelly and Sharlene Mikel. Their memories and the love they shared remain a cherished part of her legacy.

Her lifelong friendship with Stephanie Cantrell, spanning 41 years, was a testament to Darlene's loyalty, warmth, and capacity for deep, enduring connections.

Darlene's life was marked by her kindness, her unwavering dedication to her family and friends, and her ability to find joy in the simple, everyday moments. She will be profoundly missed and forever remembered by all who knew her.

A celebration of her life will be held on Wednesday July 31st at 4:00pm in the Cleveland Chapel of Companion Funeral & Cremation Service located at 2415 Georgetown Road NW, Clevleand, TN 37311, where family and friends will gather to honor her memory and share in the stories that defined her remarkable life. Her family will recieve friends prior to the service from 2pm until 4pm. She will be laid to rest following the service at Fort Hill Cemetery.
