Darlene Hoodenpyle Price, 67, of Soddy Daisy, TN, passed away on May 27, 2025, at her residence. She was born on January 15, 1958, in Chattanooga, TN and loved to sit outside & be with her family.

She is preceded in death by her father, Charles Hoodenpyle; mother, Louiza Hoodenpyle; brothers, Charles Hoodenpyle and Robert Hoodenpyle; sisters, Joyce Dye and Carlene Dye and great-granddaughter, Myleigh Narramore.

Darlene is survived by her son, James (Michelle) William Price; daughter, April (Kenneth) Darlene Bailey; siblings, Linda Layne and Raymond Hoodenpyle; grandchildren, Courtney Burns, Zachary Burns, Tyler Burns, Rachael Price, Leann Smith and Madison Bailey; great-grandchildren, Rilee Williams, Kynleigh Williams, Gunner Williams, TJ Burns, Creed Burns and Colton Burns.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM-6:00 PM, on Saturday, May 31, 2025, at Companion Funeral Home Chattanooga chapel, 6018 John Douglas Drive, Chattanooga, TN 37421.
