Dannie Callahan

Dannie Callahan, 76, of Cleveland, TN passed away on May 18, 2021. He was born on October 5, 1944 to the late John and Kathryn Callahan. Dannie was a truck driver by trade and he had a love for old cars, attending car shows, and was an excellent mechanic. Dannie also loved playing pool and most of all spending time with his family.
In addition to his mother and father he is preceded in death by his sister Ann Matthews.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his son Dannie Wayne Callahan; daughter Danielle Watson; siblings: Faye Watson (Ralph), David Callahan (Priscilla), Jeff Callahan (Deedra), and Janet Evans (Eddie); grandson Tyler Watson (Brittany); great granddaughter River Watson; and the one he considered his best friend, Bennie. In addition to these, he leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members and friends.
A visitation will be held for Dannie at the Cleveland Chapel of Companion Funeral Home on Sunday May 23, 2021 from 11:00am-12:00pm. A graveside service will be held at 1:00pm at Chilcutt United Methodist Cemetery.
