Daniel Wayne Dixon

Daniel Wayne Dixon, 44, of Cleveland, TN passed away on January 8, 2022. He was born on July 30, 1978 in Cleveland, TN. Daniel, also known as “Big D,” was an avid sports fan and loved cars, camping, fishing, and being with his friends and family. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

He is preceded in death by his mother Dorothy Dixon; paternal grandmother Jane Dixon; stepfather Frank Dunn; stepmother Teres Nichols Dixon.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his father Bill Dixon and stepmother Glenda; daughter Destanee Dixon; brother Adam Dixon (Ruby); sister Amanda Dixon; niece Kizziah Dixon; stepsisters Tonya Woltz and Toni Crisp; stepbrother D.J. Green. In addition to these he leaves behind numerous extended family and friends.

A celebration of Daniel’s life will be held at 1pm on Sunday January 23rd at the Cleveland Chapel of Companion Funeral Home. He will be laid to rest following the service at Mt. Zion Cemetery following his service. His family will receive friends from 4pm-7pm on Saturday January 22nd at the funeral home and from 12pm until the 1pm service time on Sunday.
