Daniel Eaton

Daniel Eaton, 54, a resident of Athens, TN passed away on Wednesday, August 21, 2019 at Fort Sanders Medical Center in Knoxville, TN. He was born on November 9, 1964 in Detroit, MI and has made McMinn county his home for the past 34 years. He loved being a grandpa and papaw.
He is preceded in death by his parents Dorothy & Gary Eaton, and brother Michael Eaton.
Daniel leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife Sandra Eaton, children: Daniel & Renee Eaton, James & Tori Eaton, Krystal & Adam Leonard and Austen Eaton all of Athens, step children: Donald & Gypsy Heitger, Sky & Steph Goins and Robbie & Destiny Farnsworth all of South Carolina, Samantha & Misty Wilson of Austin, TX, Denver Heitger, Richmond Virgina, Sherri & Nick Baker and Kayla Standridge all of Athens, siblings: Gary Eaton, Chris & Shelby Eaton and Michelle Roderick all of Athens, mother in law and best friend Sharon Shuell, nineteen grandchildren, numerous other extend family members and a host of special friends.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday evening, August 27, 2019 at 6:30 PM in the Athens chapel of Companion Funeral Home located at 400 S White Street in Athens, TN with the Reverend Jeff Roberts officiating. The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening from 5:00 PM until the 6:30 PM service time.
