Obituary
DALE C. MCALLISTER 74, short time resident of Niota, TN born 6/27/40 in Lewiston, ME. The family moved to Sarasota in 1952. Dale worked for FDOT for 30 years retiring as office engineer in 2002. He & Barbara moved to “Dreamacres” in Lincolnton, GA. He went to be with the Lord 07/27/14 surrounded by his family. He was preceded in death by parents, Norman & Janet McAllister, sisters Karen McAllister & Nancy Stinson. He leaves behind his devoted wife of 54 years Barbara J. Rodden McAllister, son Daniel (Jean) McAllister of Niota. Grandchildren Amber (Mason) & Dustin McAllister of Kettering, OH and brother Craig (Laurie) McAllister of Sarasota, FL. He was an avid fisherman, his hobbies were antique bottle collecting, CB club, wood crating artist using recycled materials as well as crafting and craft shows.
A celebration of life is planned for Saturday, August 2, 2014 at 2:00pm Sweetwater Calvary Chapel at 536 Main Street, Sweetwater, TN.
