Dan Sprague

Daniel Keith Sprague, 77, passed away on January 14, 2025. He was born on May 23, 1947 to the late Lincoln and Veronica Sprague in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Daniel was honored to serve in the United States Navy for over 23 years. He enjoyed waterskiing, fishing, and leisure boat rides. Daniel was always excited to tell about the history of the antiques in his home. He took pleasure in grilling for his family, especially Sunday steak dinners. He was very proud of his vegetable garden as well. His presence was deeply enjoyed by his family and an abundance of friends.

In addition to his parents, Daniel is preceded in death by his brother, Patrick Sprague.

Daniel is survived by his wife, Linda Sprague, daughters, Carolyn (Anthony) Raspa, Linda Martin, siblings, Marty (Becky) Sprague, Kathy (Tony) Atnip, Theresa (Ron) Thompson, grandchildren, Jessica and Allyssa Raspa, Jaden Martin, great-grandchildren, Adelline Hyde, Waylon and Jorden Martin, nieces, Kelli Baker, Jennifer (Steve) Bunn, nephews, Shane (Avery) Sprague, Jason and Michael Thompson, Brandon Sprague, TJ (Beth) Atnip, 6 great-nieces and 7 great-nephews.

A celebration of life of life service will be held on Monday, January 27, 2025 at 12:00 pm at Companion Funeral Home - The Cleveland Chapel. The family will be receiving friends from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm prior to the service. A graveside service is to follow at Chattanooga National Cemetery.
