Dan Ray Padgett

Dan Ray Padgett, 60, of Trenton, GA passed away at Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga, TN, due to complications with Covid on Saturday, November 20, 2021. Dan was born to Bobby Ray Padgett and Thelma “Jo” Padgett on December 11, 1960 in Honolulu, HI. Dan grew up in Chickamauga, GA, and graduated from Gordon Lee High School in 1979. He worked for the trucking industry for twenty-five years, and was an avid sports enthusiast. Dan enjoyed playing football and baseball, watching his children play sports, and watching professional and college sports.

Mr. Padgett was preceded in death by his parents, Bobby and Beverly Padgett and Jo Padgett.

Mr. Padgett is survived by two sisters: Susan (Johnny) Adams of Rock Spring, GA, and Deena Entwistle of Ft. Oglethorpe, GA; two sons: Jacob (Chloe) Padgett of Ringgold, GA, and Tanner Padgett of Rossville, GA; two daughters: Jennifer Crane of Dalton, GA and Jillian Padgett of Chickamauga, GA; three grandsons: Cayden, Dylan, and Rip; granddaughter, Ava; several nieces and one nephew; several great nieces and great nephews; and a host of other friends and relatives.

Memorial events may be planned at a later time. The family will notify loved ones when an event is scheduled.
