Cynthia Strickland

Cynthia Lorena "Rena" Strickland, age 60 of Cleveland, TN passed away from this life to be with her Heavenly Father on Sunday August 27, 2023. She was born on July 15, 1963 to Benny and Frances Hickman of Georgetown, TN. She was an Employee at Advanced Photographic Solutions in Cleveland, TN. She was a member of Gum Springs Baptist Church in Georgetown, TN. She attended Meigs County High School. She was a wonderful wife, mother, noni, daughter, sister and friend. She loved the lord and her family with all of her heart.

She was a wonderful pianist and singer and loved gospel music with a passion. She was also a wonderful cook. It wasn't her passion, but she was so good at it and always liked to try new recipes. She loved going on vacations with her family, especially on cruises. She loved making memories with her family. Her grandson Elijah was her pride and joy. She always put others needs before her own needs. She was a natural nurturer. There will be a huge void in the lives that she leaves behind.

She is proceeded in death by her mother, Frances Hickman. Her maternal grandparents Roy and Ruby Marshall and her paternal grandparents Hubert and Eula Mae Hickman and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband of 42 years, Rickie Strickland. Her son Christopher Strickland and her daughter and grandson Autumn and Elijah Strickland.

Her father Benny Hickman. Her brother Jamie Hickman (Kelly). Her Sisters Tonya (Dean) Green and Misty (Matt) Knoll. Her nieces Lexi and a Londyn Knoll and 1 Nephew Dakota Green and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
