Obituary
Cynthia Marie Davis, 40, a resident of Benton, TN passed away on Saturday, September 22, 2012 at her residence. Cynthia a lifelong resident of Benton was born on May 13, 1972 a daughter of the late Ralph and Flossie Wooten. Cynthia was of the Christian faith. She was a loving and devoted wife and mother who took her job as homemaker very serious.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving husband of 26 years Curtis Davis, two daughters Kelsey Davis and Kendel Davis, two sisters Susie Keith (Eldon) and Joyce Herron (Jerry), three brothers Benny Wooten (Lucille), Harvey Wooten (Martha), and Tony Wooten (Judy), mother-in-law Patsy L. Brown, and numerous other extended family members and friends.
A funeral service is planned for Wednesday, September 26, 2012 at 2:00 PM at the Benton Church of God located at 570 Clemmer Ferry Road, Benton, TN 37307 with the Reverend Jerry Herron and the Reverend Charles Moore officiating. Interment will follow in the Cumberland Shed Cemetery with Danny Stewart, Wesley Hicks, Hoss Keith, Erik Keith, Brian Brown, and Jason Wooten serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday night, September 25, 2012 from 5PM until 8PM at the church. The body will also lie in repose one hour prior to the service on Wednesday.
