Cynthia Carole "CeeCee" Campbell Corum passed away peacefully in her home on July 1st, 2024. CeeCee was born on September 6, 1946, to Bill and Cotton Campbell in Lincoln, North Carolina. She attended Bradley Central High School and was in the graduating class of 1964.
Throughout her youth, she loved riding the wagon trains through the mountains, as well as spending time with friends and family. In her adult years, she was the first female UPS driver in the Chattanooga area and became the first female to work in the plant at City Service in Copperhill, as she followed her grandfather's footsteps.
CeeCee was an incredibly hard worker and led many construction crews for numerous years. In her personal time, she loved dressing up in fun costumes to participate in parties, parades, and to create memories with others. Throughout her entire life she was an avid lover of animals. She had numerous "soul-dogs" over the years including Zeus, Kia, Pepper, Jax, and Petro.
In the early 2000s, she moved to Charleston, SC and later to Folly Beach where she was a resident for nearly 20 years. There, she loved spending time with friends, making memories, and sharing laughs and drinks with others.
CeeCee is preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Cotton, Aunt Jerry and Uncle EL, cousin Roger, and great-granddaughter Olive. Left to celebrate her life are children Lea Beth Corum, Jason Corum (Michelle). Grandchildren: Taylor Park, Victoria Anderson (Seve), Joe Bohr IIII, Morgan Vibbert (Aaron), Garrett and Major Corum. Great-grandchildren: Brendan, Emma, Charlie, and Noah Anderson; August Vibbert. Life-long friends: Michael Norton, Chris Jenkins, and Marie Andres, Including numerous cousins and other close friends.
A Celebration of Life for her family will be held at the Cleveland Country Club on July 10, 2024, from 5:00-7:00
Friends are invited to join the family in celebrating CeeCee's life on Thursday, July 11th, at 5:00 pm at Pokey's Music Hall and Eatery.
