Cynthia Bishop

Obituary
 Cynthia Bishop, 50, of Cleveland, TN passed away at her residence on Friday morning, August 31, 2012. Cynthia was born in Dalton, GA on December 24, 1961 a daughter of Eddie Bob Cloer and the late Carolyn Janette Cloer. Cynthia was a lifelong resident of Cleveland and of the Baptist faith having previously attended Cedar Springs Baptist Church. Cynthia loved animals and was very passionate about animal rescue. She loved the great outdoors including fishing, hunting, and water sports. Cynthia never met a stranger. Her family was of great importance to her and she loved and adored each of them. Cynthia had no children of her own, but thought of her nieces and nephews as her own children.
In addition to her mother, Cynthia is preceded in death by her husband Jimmy Bishop, one brother Eddie Duane Cloer, and grandmother Bessie M. Ridley.
Cynthia leaves behind to cherish her memory her father Eddie Bob Cloer, four sisters Janice Higgins (Tim), Brenda Ross, Patricia Meeks (Mitchell), and Laura Gunderson (Todd), one brother Casey Cloer (Natasha), special friend Jimmy Hall, and several nieces, nephews and close friends.
A funeral service is planned for Monday night, September 3, 2012 at the Waterville Baptist Church located at 4555 Dalton Pike, Cleveland, TN 37323 with the Reverend Allan Lovelace officiating. The family will receive friends on Monday afternoon at the church from 4:30 PM until the 7:00 PM service time.
The interment and committal service will take place on Tuesday morning, September 4, 2012 at 11:00 AM in the Cedar Spring Baptist Church Cemetery with the family serving as pallbearers.
