Curtis Alexander Reddy

Curtis Alexander Reddy, 71, of Charleston, TN passed away Friday, December 18, 2015 at a local health care facility. Son of the late Alexander Ocenas and Sarah Elizabeth Clawson Ocenas Reddy, Step-father James Reddy, Special foster parent Thomas E. Stough.
Mr. Reddy was a member of Shenandoah Baptist Church. Mr. Reddy served in the United State Marine Corp along with the United States Army in the 101st Airborne Division. Mr. Reddy served a tour in Vietnam. On June 18, 1999 the survivors of the Battle of Trung Luong Platoon received a Presidential Citation at Fort Campbell, KY as issued by the late Lyndon B. Johnson administration. Retired from Dekalb County, GA. Public works, water & sewer department. Mr. Reddy worked for Maytag as a Security Guard then moved into working with Bruckner and Precision supplies.
Mr. Reddy is survived by loving wife of 42 years Mildred Garrabrant Reddy. Half- sister Georgia A. King of Orlando Florida. Half-brother Brian J Reddy of New York, New York. Foster mother Mary M. Stough of Franklin, NC. Foster brother T.R (Jan) Stough of Franklin, NC. Dr. Gary E. (Diane) Stough of Hilton Head, SC and Anne (Tony) Levere of Gainesville GA. Several Nieces and Nephews also survive.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00pm on Tuesday December 22, 2015 at Shenandoah Baptist Church located at 138 Osment Road SE, Cleveland, TN 37323. The family will receive friends at the church from 11:00am until the 1:00pm service time. Interment will follow the service at Chattanooga National Cemetery with full military honors.
