Cora Sue Owens

Cora Sue Owens, 84, a resident of Cleveland, TN passed away May 15, 2019. She was born January 15, 1935 in Tutwiler, MS, she moved to Battle Creek, MI in 1945, and meet her husband and married in 1950. Together they moved to Atlanta, GA in 1980 and lived there for several years before moving to Cleveland, TN in 2010. Cora loved the summer weather she enjoyed the outdoors, gardening, meeting people, she also enjoyed History and Antiques.
Cora is preceded in death by her daughter Nancy Woodard.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving husband of 68 years of marriage Rex Owens; children, Allen (Lisa) Owens of Green Brier, TN, and Chanda (Darryl) Provost of Eureka, MT; grandchildren, Meagan, Mallory, Chelsea, Alayne, Zoeigh, Nicole, Sean; great-grandchildren, Owen, Emerson, Addy Grace, Ava, Noah, Maddox.
May she rest in peace and look down on of all of us.
A memorial service will be held Monday, May 20, 2019 at 3:00 pm at the Cleveland Chapel of Companion Funeral Home.
