Connie Mantooth

Connie Mantooth, 69, a resident of Old Fort, Tennessee, passed away on Friday March 30, 2018. Connie was known for always being deeply devoted to her family and will be greatly missed by all that knew her.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Uless & Celia Self; brothers, Jackie Self and Sherman Self; niece, Lynn Burris; nephews, Riley Burris and Lee Callahan; and several other nieces and nephews.
Connie leaves behind to cherish her memory, her loving husband of 52 years, Claude Mantooth Sr.; son, Claude Mantooth Jr.; siblings, David Johnson, Jimmy Johnson, Sandy Johnson, Jerry “Mac” Self (Kathy), Dyan “Cookie” King (Kenneth “Bird”), Tammy Hodgson (Jim), and Lynn Callahan (Ron); sisters-in-law, Gayle Brunk (Garry) and Neoma Mantooth; very special nephew, David Self; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
The family will receive friends on Monday April 2, 2018 from 12:00pm until 2:00pm at Ball Play Baptist Church, located at 1142 Ball Play Road, Old Fort, TN 37362.
A celebration of life funeral service will begin at 2:00pm at the church, with Pastor Matthew Harris officiating the service.
Following the service, Connie will be laid to rest in the Ball Play Baptist Church Cemetery.
