Connie Harmon

August 18, 1942 — October 13, 2023

Connie Beth Harmon (Meemee, Mimi, or Meme) was born on August 18,1942, in Mt.

Clemens, Michigan, to the late Stewart and Julia Avers. She passed away peacefully,

surrounded by her loving family in her home on October 13, 2023.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Stewart and Julia Avers, her loving husband

Douglas Harmon, and her beloved son Frank Harmon.

She is survived by her two loving sons David Harmon and Scott Harmon (Tonya).

 

She is also survived by her grandchildren, step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren

whom she loved dearly.

Grandchildren: Candace Harmon (Matt), Ashley Harmon, Brooke Davis (CE), Heather

Harmon, Kason Harmon (Sydney), Emily Collins, Gracie Harmon (Preston), Riley

Harmon, and Paige Harmon.

Step-grandchildren: Ramey Thompson, Jamey Thompson, and Kamus Thompson.

Great-grandchildren: Kaleb Thompson (Shelby), Cameron Thompson, Allen Lapham,

Trent Standfield, Nyziah Whaley, Keaton Whaley, Hayden Thompson, Zious Whaley,

 

Jazzmyne Hensley, Arian July, Aspen, Nahla, NaShea and Evony Thompson, Willow

and Fox Collins, Jack and Jesse Harmon.

Connie moved to Cleveland, TN with her husband Douglas and three children, where

she spent her remaining years. Her family has fond memories of her home, whether she

was hosting pool parties or cooking one of her many delicious meals. She was full of life

and was never afraid to speak her mind, which her family loved about her. She will be

missed more than words can describe. She had a huge love for all animals. There was

never a time in her life where she did not have at least 2 or 3 dogs and/or cats. She also

loved horses and spent time helping at the stables at Horn's Creek.

A remembrance of life will be announced by family at a later date.
