Cole Nelms

Cole Nelms, 24, of Benton, Tennessee passed away at his mother's home on Wednesday, February 5th, 2025, after fighting a lengthy illness.

Cole was born on July 28th, 2000 to his mother Dodie Spandau, and his father Ernest Nelms in Cleveland, Tennessee. Cole enjoyed his work in the private security industry for years after graduating high school before his illness overcame him. Cole also enjoyed playing his guitar, playing and spending time with his nieces, Nadiya and Bailey. He also liked to play video games online with his friends.

Cole was married to his loving wife, Erin Moats-Nelms for five years.

Cole leaves behind his loving mother and step-father Dodie and David Spandau, his father Ernest Nelms, his caring brother Chance Nelms (Danille). His sisters Christy Dawn Davis (Roger Davis), and Tanya Siebers (Larry). His nieces Nadiya and Bailey Nelms along with several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

In Eternal Life, Cole joins his grandparents William and Betty Veney and Lavaughn and Lois Nelms.

Final Care for Cole was entrusted to Companion Funeral and Cremation Service, Cleveland Chapel.
