Cody Ray King

Cody Ray King, 22, of Decatur TN, passed away Thursday April 25, 2019.
He was born on June 2, 1996 at UT hospital in Knoxville TN and was raised and resided in Decatur TN. Cody enjoyed working on cars and loved his precious dogs.
Cody precedes in death by his mother, Celena Pauline Morrow; uncle, Jason Parker Morrow; grandmother, Sandy Faye Lankford and grandfather, James Larry King.
Left behind to cherish his memory is his fiancé, Pebbles Roach; father, Michael Ray King (Michelle), three sisters, Chelsey Goforth, Heather King and Jenna King; one brother, Heath King. Also left behind are his grandmother, Cathy King and grandfather, Michael Morrow along with many aunts, uncle, cousins and friends. He will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him.
A celebration of his life is planned for Tuesday night April 30 at 8:00 p.m. in the chapel of Companion Funeral Home located at 400 South White Street in Athens with Brother Jeff Evans and Pastor Jimmy Lewis officiating. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. service time.
The family and friends will meet at the funeral home on Wednesday morning May 1 at 10:00 a.m. and will go in procession to Clear Springs Baptist Church located at 653 County Road 100 Athens TN for the 11 a.m. committal service. Dylan Ricker, Tyler Bidwell, Jacob Bidwell, Chase Bidwell, Junior Long, and Heath King will serve as pallbearers.
