Cody Glynn Dwight Shultz

Cody Glynn Dwight Shultz, 27, a resident of Niota, TN went to his Heavenly home on Wednesday evening, May 25, 2022 at his home. He was a McMinn County native and was born on March 9, 1995. He enjoyed fishing, camping and spending time with his family.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents Douglas & Helen Wheaton and James & Barbara Shultz, one uncle Douglas Wheaton Jr. and one nephew Christian Sneed.
Cody leaves behind to cherish his memory his mother and step father Tammy & Randy Willis, father and step mother Glynn & Mary Shultz, two sisters Candy Ottman (Ryan) and Heather Burton (Josh Branham), one step sister Jessica Mcfarland, one brother James Shultz (Necie), several nieces and nephews, special uncle and aunt Bob & Tracy Roberts, numerous other extended family members and a host of special friends.
A celebration of his life is planned for Tuesday, May 31, 2022 at 7:00 PM in the Athens chapel of Companion Funeral Home located at 400 S White Street in Athens, TN. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 5:00 PM until the 7:00 PM service time.
