Clinton "Clint" Eugene Denney, 63, passed away on March 31st, 2025. He was born to Claude Denney and Carole Henry on December 25th, 1961 in Cleveland, Tennessee.
Clint was a devout Christian, of the Baptist denomination, who loved to share his testimony and sing in his church's chorus. He loved animals, fishing, golfing, and the Tennessee Volunteers. While he loved the Vols, he was also a general sports fan, having played many sports himself. He thoroughly enjoyed family functions, especially at Christmas. Clint served as a police officer for 30 years.
In addition to his father, Clint is preceded in death by his grandparents, George and Pauline Melton, and Elbert and Edith Denney, and his niece, Olivia Grace Denney.
Clint is survived by his mother, Carole Henry, children, Andrew Denney and his family, Morgan (Katie) Denney, Kelsey "Dani" Denney, Clayton (Haley) Denney, siblings, Charley (LeAnn) Denney, Calvin (Becky) Denney, Connie (Jeff) Denney-Price, special cousin, Lisa (James) Thompson, and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and several aunts and uncles.
A Rememberance of Life Service will be held on Friday, April 18th, 2025 at 2:00pm, at Emmanuel Baptist Church. The family will be receiving friends from 12-2pm prior to the service.
