Cleve Whaley, 63, passed away on January 23, 2025 in Cleveland, Tennessee. He was born on February 15, 1961 to the late Penny and Betty Whaley.

Cleve enjoyed spending time outdoors, mostly hunting and fishing, and watching westerns, the Andy Griffith Show and other classic shows. He was an avid listener of Lynard Skynard, AC/DC, and Guns and Roses. He mostly occupied himself by working on small engine motorcycles and mowers. Cleve's career was most notable for truck driving for logging companies with his brothers and other family members for many years. He was quite giving and caring in nature, and was said to give the shirt off his back to others in need.

Along with his parents, Cleve is preceded in death by his siblings, Gary and Connie Whaley, and son, Joshua Sliger.

He is survived by his sons, Billy (Rachel L) Whaley, Andrew (Rachel N) Whaley, Franklin Whaley, and siblings, Brenda (Ricky) Brewer, Randall (Phebe) Whaley, as well as a host of nieces, nephews and grandchildren.
