Clayton Lee Ford

Clayton Lee Ford, age 71, of Madisonville, Tennessee passed away on July 11, 2023.He was born on February 22, 1952, in Friendsville, TN to the late Joe Ford and Georgia (Purkey) Ford.

Preceded in death by his wife; Karen (Mullins) Ford, siblings; Joe Robert (Sandi) Ford, Charles (Rowena) Ford, Coy Ford, James (Denise) Ford, Evelyn (Ivan) Harmon. He is survived by his sibling; Betty (Charles) Giffin; adopted sisters; Karen Sue Ford and Pamela Joyce (Kenneth) Spader.

He is survived by his children; Jasmine Nicole Ford, Jarah Lee Ford, Anita LaJuet, and Jeanine Martin; grandchildren; Layla Grace Boyd, Rylan Eugene Boyd, Sarah Mae Ford, Abigail Jean Ford, Joe Rogers, Cailey Bo Martin.

The family will receive friends on Friday, July 21, 2023, from 12:00-2:00 PM in the Athens chapel of Companion Funeral Home. A service celebrating his life will follow the visitation at 2:00 PM with the Reverend Guinn Green officiating.

He will be laid to rest in the Shaddy Grove Cemetery in Friendsville, TN in a private ceremony.
