Clayton Johnson, 89, of Sale Creek, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 18, 2025. A cherished husband, devoted father, and loyal friend, Clayton brought joy, laughter, and a quiet strength to all who knew him.
Known for his love of life's simple pleasures, Clayton enjoyed bowling and golf, found peace in mowing lawns, and rarely missed an episode of his favorite western, Gunsmoke. His warmth and sense of humor left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to cross his path.
He is survived by his loving wife, Glenda Johnson; his son, Marcellus Johnson; daughter, Wendy (Renee) Johnson; and brother, Quay Johnson. Clayton also leaves behind several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, along with many nieces and nephews who will carry on his legacy of kindness, laughter, and love.
Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Life on Saturday, July 12, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Sale Creek Fire Hall, where memories will be shared, and Clayton's remarkable life will be honored.
He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
