Claude Edgar Mccormick Jr.

Claude Edgar “Brub” McCormick Jr., 67, of Cleveland, TN passed away on December 30, 2021. He was born on March 22, 1954 to the late Claude Edgar McCormick Sr. and Mamie Sue Bradshaw McCormick.

Claude was a lifelong resident of Cleveland. He loved cars and playing cards-especially poker. Above all, he was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

In addition to his mother and father, he is preceded in death by his brother Earl McCormick and sister Felicia Kimsey.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife of 25 years, Pat McCormick; children: Mary Harden (Alan), Elaine McCormick, Chenequa McCormick, Jonathon Wilson (Aimee), Eric Wilson (Michelle), and Alicia Kerr (Josh); grandchildren: Thomas, Shannon, Bubba, Michael, Petyon, Rodney, Marisa, Halaysia, AnJoee, Ayden, Anna, Randall, Brookly, Clay, Zoie, Carter, Keagen, and one grandson he was raising as a son, Xander. In addition to these he leaves behind 6 great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members and friends.

A celebration of Claude’s life will be held at 7pm on Sunday January 2, 2022 at the Cleveland Chapel of Companion Funeral Home. His family will receive friends from 4pm until the 7pm service. He will be laid to rest at 10am on Monday January 3rd at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
