Clarence Thomas Roberts

Obituary
Clarence Thomas Roberts, 62, a resident of Cleveland, TN went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, August 13th, 2013. Clarence was born in Kentucky on December 3rd, 1950 a son of the late Anna Daniels Roberts. He has made Cleveland his home for the past 25 years. Clarence was a member of Grace Community Church of God. He was a former volunteer fireman with the Gilbert West Virginia Volunteer Fire Department. Clarence was employed as a meat cutter with Sav-A-Lot in Cleveland.

Clarence leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving and devoted wife of forty one years Alice L. Roberts, one daughter Cheryl Roberts also of Cleveland, one sister Anna Lee Collins of Forest Hills, KY, one granddaughter Ciara Roberts, one niece Shelia Long of Forest Hills, KY. He is also survived by numerous other extended family members, church family and a host of special friends.

A celebration of his life is planned for Saturday night, August 17th, 2013 at 7:00 PM at the Grace Community Church of God located at 4745 Mouse Creek Road NW in Cleveland, TN with Pastor Kevin Mendel officiating.

The family will receive friends at the church on Saturday afternoon from 5:30 PM until the 7:00 PM service time.

In lieu of flowers the family request that memorials be made to the Grace Community Church of God Building Fund in Clarence’s memory.
