Christopher Hamonds

Christopher Alan Hamonds, 32, of Athens, TN, passed away at home Saturday, June 1st, 2024.

Chris was born July 5, 1991 in Athens, TN. He enjoyed spending time with his children and family. He also enjoyed doing all kinds of outdoor activities.

He is survived by his parents, Paul and Debbie Hamonds of Athens, TN; two sisters, Christie Hamonds of Cleveland, TN, and Wendy Garcia-Lara (Hamonds) of Athens, TN; a fiancé and life long companion of 16 years, Amy Stanley (Hamonds) of Athens, Tn; three children, Brian Austin Morgan, Heavenly Nevaeh Hamonds, and Jacob Alan Hamonds all of Athens, TN; grandmother, Della Hines of Athens, TN; mother and father in-law, Tracy and BJ Lankford of Athens, TN; his special lifelong friends of the family, Marshall and Sheila Watson of Englewood, TN; numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, many cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.

Visitation will be Tuesday June 11 from 4-8pm at Companion Funeral Home of Athens. Funeral Service will be held Wednesday June 12 at 2pm with graveside to follow at Cedar Grove Cemetery.

Pallbearers are John Boy Hamonds, Christian Hamonds, Destiny Hamonds, Jose Hamonds, Marshall Watson, Tristan Hamonds, Damario Hamonds, Austin Morgan and Adrian Hamonds.

Christopher is Gone to be with the angels. He will forever be missed by all and loved forever but never forgotten.
