Christopher Glenn Pugh, born November 21, 1978, passed away June 14, 2021. He was of the Christian faith and loved the Lord. Chris was a humorous, loving son, husband, father and friend to many. He loved to fish, go camping and being in a crowd, especially with family. He loved riding motorcycles, four wheelers, and the outdoors. Christopher enjoyed raising his pit bulls, especially his dog, Reno. He would take in and care for stray animals and nurse them back to good health. Known for his quick wit, infectious smile, and his kind and compassionate spirit.
Preceded in death by his biological father, Jack Stallard and stepfathers, John Elliott, III and Jesse Willis; grandfathers, John Elliott, Jr., Troy Pugh, and Jim Hickman; uncles, Gary & Michael Pugh; special cousin, Kaitlyn Elliott.
Survived by his wife, Merry Pugh; mother, Debbie Willis; grandmothers, Colleen Dennis & Joyce Hickman; sons, Christopher A. (Alyssa) Pugh and Nathan Pugh; stepsons, Lee & Kenneth Duke; brother, Jonathan Elliott; sisters, Jennifer McDade and Heather (Clay) Baker; nieces, Alexis McDade, Daisia Graham, Lillian Baker and Kalena Elliott; nephew, Dakota Jackson; several grandchildren who loved their “ Pappy”; aunts, Melody Pendergrass and Sharlene Choate; uncle Tim (Kimberlee) Elliott; many cousins, extended family and friends.
Visitation will be held from 3:00 PM-5:00 PM on Sunday, June 20, 2021 with the service to begin at 5:00 PM- Chapel of Companion Funeral Home with ministers Jesse Harris and Mitchell Pendergrass officiating the service. Burial will beheld at Lee Cemetery in McDonald, TN with pallbearers Jonathan Elliott, Clay Baker, Jesse Harris, Gary Pugh, Randy Scott, Shane McCarter, Jason & James Lumbardo.
