God saw you getting tired, and a cure was not to be. So he put his arms around you and whispered “come to ME.” With tearful eyes we watched you, and saw you pass away. Although we loved you dearly, we could not make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating, hard working hands at rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the best.
Christopher Deacon “Jersey” Harding, 39, of Ooltewah, TN went home to be with Lord and Savior, surrounded friends and family on Thursday February 28, 2013 at a local healthcare facility. He was born on March 7, 1973 to Frank and Shirley Harding. He moved to Ooltewah from Burlington, NJ in 2007. While living in Ooltewah, he was an active member at Straight Way Church. Chris was known for his extremely devoted faith in God and will be forever remembered as a tremendously loving spouse, father, grandfather, and son.
He is preceded in death by his father Frank Harding, uncle Bob Harding, grandfather Deacon Harding and grandmother June McBride. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife of thirteen years MaryAnne Harding, mother Shirley Harding, sister Deborah Thomas, brother Frank Harding, two children: Ashley M Harding, Christopher Deacon Harding Jr., and grandson Jonathan Vaughn. Finally, he leaves behind his beloved companion and friend: his dog, Nicodemus. Chris also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and extended family members and friends.
