Christine Treece - October 31, 1961 - April 14, 2025
Christine Treece, 63, passed away peacefully on April 14, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, faith, and dedication. Born on October 31, 1961, Christine devoted her life to serving others both professionally and personally.
She spent over 30 years as a nurse, known for her tireless work ethic and compassionate care. Her patients and colleagues alike were touched by her kindness, strength, and unwavering commitment to helping others.
A woman of deep Christian faith, Christine met the love of her life, her late husband Dewayne Treece, while singing in the choir at Bible college-a beautiful beginning to a life filled with music, love, and devotion. She played the violin with grace and found joy in music throughout her life.
Christine was a proud fan of Georgia Bulldogs football and enjoyed both watching and playing tennis. She also loved tending to her garden and spending time with her cherished grandchildren. Her home was always filled with warmth, laughter, and blooming flowers.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Alice House, and her beloved husband, Dewayne Treece.
Christine is survived by her daughters, Melissa Taylor and her husband Wesley, and Hope Mize and her husband Jonathan. She was a loving and devoted grandmother to Lilly, Issiah, Zayne, Malachi, Konrad, and Micah. She is also survived by her brothers John, Paul, and Timothy, as well as many extended family members and friends who will miss her dearly.
She will be remembered for her strength, her faith, her love for her family, and the countless lives she touched. Her legacy lives on in the hearts of all who knew her.
