Christina Dobbs

Christina Marie Dobbs (née Smith), born September 29, 1978 - age 45, was born in Chattanooga, Tennessee. She met a tragic end to a tragic life on December 5, 2023, within the city of Chattanooga. Christina was a beautiful person with a great smile, witty sense of humor, and willingness to lend a helping hand whenever she could. She never met a stranger and made friends easily. Sadly, she was not able to escape the haunting of numerous lifelong demons. During happier times, she was a big fan of reading, alternative grunge music, and cult movie classics. She had several pets throughout her life and enjoyed caring for them.

Christina attended Brainerd High School and later East Ridge High School. She worked within healthcare, customer service, and food service industries for many years.

She is survived by two daughters, Alexis Nicole Smith and Desiree Deandra Smith, father, Casey Smith, two sisters, Jennifer Alice Smith and Emily Ann Smith, two young granddaughters, and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her mother Sandra Brown (née Christian), paternal grandmother, Effie Mae Flippin, paternal grandfather, John Riley Smith, her dearly beloved maternal grandmother, Margaret Ann Christian (née Ramsey), maternal grandfather James Isaac Christian, maternal uncle, James Isaac Christian, Jr., and her adoring maternal aunt, Janice Ann Christian.

Funeral and burial arrangements will be privately overseen by Companion Funeral & Cremation Services of Chattanooga.
