Chris Vandergriff

Christopher J. Vandergriff 51 gained his wings on March 30, 2022.

He was born in Chattanooga TN and was a resident of Rossville GA.

He was a 1989 Tyner High School graduate and has remained close friends to many of his fellow classmates.

Chris was an advent music lover of all genres and loved to play the guitar.

Chris was friends with everyone he encountered and he never met a stranger.

Chris will be missed terribly and loved forever.

He is survived by his wife of 30 yrs. Marta Blackwell Vandergriff, son Dalton McCain, sister Jennifer Chason Walker, brothers Randy and Marvin Vandergriff. Along with several nieces and nephews.

He is preceeded in death by his parents Jim and JoAnn Vandergriff. Grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Richard Morgan and Mr. and Mrs. James Vandergriff Sr.

At his request there will not be a public service. A private memorial will be held at a later date.
