Cheryl J. Stokes, 57, a resident of Athens, TN passed away on Friday morning January 25, 2013 at her home after a long and brave battle with cancer. Cheryl was born in Atlanta, GA on August 20, 1955 a daughter of the late George and Joy Sweat Sr.
Cheryl is survived by her hustband Stanton Stokes and one brother Tim Sweat and several other extended family members and friends.
There will be no public services or visitation at this time here locally, but rather a memorial service will be held later in Georgia where Cheryl's remains will be interred next to her parents.
