Charlotte Gibson

Charlotte Lee Gibson, age 80, of Cleveland, TN, passed away peacefully Friday July 5, 2024 surrounded by family and friends.

Charlotte was a resident of Garden Plaza where she was a member of the Handbell Choir. She loved spending time with her family and friends playing bingo, chair volleyball, and yoga ball drumming. Her favorite past time was listening to music and having her nails polished. She was employed by American Uniform and Dr Scholl's. Charlotte was also a passionate Mary Kay Consultant for fifteen years.

She was preceded in death by her parents Jimmie Lee and Mildred Ruby Lee Headrick.

Survivors include her husband of 40 years, LD Wayne Gibson, her son and daughter-in-law Darren and Rhonda Johnson along with one granddaughter Cheyenne House (Dylan), daughter and son-in-law Dione and Clint Butler, sister and brother-in-law Wylene and Glenn McAlister and one niece Theresa Painter (Marq), stepdaughters Sheila Greene, Teresa Morris, Diane Ball (Greg), and Karen Hinkle (Mike), six step grandchildren and eleven step great grandchildren also survive.

Special thanks and appreciation to Garden Plaza and Adoration Hospice for the exceptional loving care they provided. Also, to Charlotte's closest friends, thanks for always being there; Naomi, Gwen, Janis, Elizabeth, and Ann.

The family will receive friends Tuesday July 9th, 4-6 pm at the Funeral Home with service to follow at 6 pm. Burial will be Wednesday July 10th, 10 am at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers are Darren Johnson, Clint Butler, Mike Hinkle, Stephen Morris, Matthew Morris, and Ryne Ball.
