Charlotte Knoblich Dennis

Charlotte Knoblich Dennis passed away on April 23, 2025. She was born on October 19, 1924 in Wheeling, West Viginia to the late Karl and Wilma Knoblich. She was retired from the American Red Cross in Columbus, Ohio where she served as an Executive Secretary. She was a lifelong member of the Lutheran Church, and she later became a member of First Lutheran Church when she moved to Cleveland, Tennessee in 2013.

Charlotte is preceded in death by her husband, Tom Dennis; parents, Karl and Wilma Knoblich; brother, Albert Knoblich; nephew, Richard Knoblich; and her grandson, Terry Jones.

Survivors include her daughter, Susan (Eddie) Jones; great-granddaughter, Stephany Jones; nieces, Libby Turek, Nancy Knoblich, and Sharon (Richard) Knoblich; great-nephew, Trevor (Lizzy); grand-niece, Eva; cousins, John (Martha) Knoblich and family.

The family would like to thank the wonderful people at Brookdale and Brookdale Mt. Vernon who loved and took such good care of Charlotte for over 8 years, and the compassionate and caring people with Hearth Hospice, who blessed her in her final months.

A graveside service will be held for Charlotte at Greenwood Cemetery in Wheeling, West Virginia at a later date.
