Charlotte Akins

Charlotte Ann Akins, 74, of Athens went to be with the Lord on December 1, 2024.

Charlotte was an avid gardener and loved spending time working on her puzzles. She will be greatly missed.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Matthew and Gladys Terry; daughter, Chrissy Rollins; and brother, Sterling Terry; and grandson, Presley Rollins.

Survivors include her husband, Gary Akins; 4 children, Sterling Dean Rollins, Harold Rollins, James Rollins, and Ricky (Jennifer) Rollins; step children, Brian (Elizabeth) Akins, Micah (Cindy) Akins, Dawn (Lindell) Farley; Shawn (Kim) Akins; several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held at Companion Funeral Home of Athens on Monday, December 9, 2024 at 1pm. Visitation will be prior from 11am-1pm. Graveside services will follow the Funeral and McMinn Memory Gardens.
