Charles Wallace Stepp

February 20, 1942 — August 10, 2019

Charles Wallace Stepp, 77, a resident of Niota, TN went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday August 10, 2019 at his home surrounded by his family. Charles was of the Pentecostal faith. He was born on February 20, 1942 a son of the late John & Kate Stepp. A native of Harlan, KY where he worked at Brookside Mining Company for 15 years. Charles was known for his passion of training and showing horses. He loved being outdoors on his tractor and telling stories to his grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a son Charles Tarring, brothers Pearl & Frances Stepp and sisters Lillie & Mary Stepp.
Charles leaves behind to cherish his memory a wife of 34 years Carol Stepp, daughters and spouses Tonya & Ray Roberts of Lenior City, Teheadia & Paschal Breeding of Resaca, GA, Stephanie & Dwight Willett of Sweetwater, TN, fourteen grandchildren, brother and their spouses Truman & Linda Stepp of Marion, IN, John L. & Betty Stepp of Marion, IN, sisters and their spouses Clara & Michael Blevins of Huntington, IN, Charlette & Buddy Delph of Baltimore, MD, Loretta & Jim Delph of Marion, IN, special friends Brenda Hughes and Johnny & Janie Roberts of Niota, TN. He is also survived by numerous other extended family members and host of special friends.
The family will have a celebration of life service to be announced at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that you make a donation to either the Alzheimer’s Association of Tennessee or Horse Haven in Loudon, TN in Charles’s memory.
