Charles T. Steffens, 79, transitioned from this life on May 21, 2024, in Chattanooga, TN. A devout follower of the 7th Day Adventist Church, Charles epitomized a life guided by faith, lived in harmony with God's will and desires. His legacy shines brightly through his unwavering commitment to serving others, a trait he embodied with selflessness, generously offering his time, resources, and skills to those in need.

Among his passions, Charles found solace and joy in the intricate challenge of assembling jigsaw puzzles, a testament to his patience and meticulous nature. His departure leaves a profound void in the hearts of his loved ones and a community touched by his kindness.

Charles is survived by his stepsons, Randall Lee Steffens, Matthew Bush and Jack Akins. Stepdaughter, Rita L. Daffinson, as well as his siblings: Mary El Jan Steffens, John Howard Steffens, Homer James Steffens, Vandy Lee Clark, Archie Levant Clark II, and Ernest Clark. He also leaves behind a cherished legacy in his step-grandchildren: Randy Lee Steffens II, Robert Forest Steffens, Shayla Sue Nebblett, Richard Brandon Steffens, Christina Lucille Whiteside, Stefennie Brooke Marshall, Paris Akins, Emma Akins, Jack Akins, Madison Akins, and Lilly Akins.

Forever cherished in memory, Charles was preceded in death by his father, Amez Steffens, and his mother, Wanda Haylock.

In his journey, Charles found companionship and love with his life companion, Virginia (Jenny) Wolverton, and he leaves behind countless longtime friends, each touched by his warmth and generosity, too numerous to list but deeply valued.

Charles T. Steffens's departure marks the end of a chapter, but his spirit lives on in the lives he touched and the love he shared. May his soul find eternal peace in the embrace of the Divine.
