Obituary
Charles Roger “Charlie” Swanner Jr., 64, a resident of Old Fort, TN went home to be with the Lord on October 11th, 2013. He is preceded in death by his father Charles R. Swanner Sr., mother Mary Whiteside Swanner, grandparents and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He is survived by his wife Angelia Swanner, sister Janice Ford, niece Brandy Ford Yarber and her husband Bryan Yarber, nephew Luke Ford, niece Whisper Manes, one step son Tony Duggan and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was an avid fisherman and loved being outdoors and on the river. He was a diesel mechanic for McClendon Trucking and also a truck driver for Duggan Logging and before retirement worked for Red Hot Battery. He will be greatly and sadly missed by his family and all his friends.
A service celebrating Charlie’s life will be held on Tuesday, October 15th, 2013 at 3:00 PM at the Berean Baptist Church with the Dr. Roger Wagner officiating.
