Charles "Ray" Greene

Obituary
Charles Ray Greene, a resident of Athens, Tennessee, went home to rest peacefully with his Creator, the one who reigns on high, our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Ray worked for 20 years at Johnson Controls in Athens. He enjoyed hot rod cars, driving the many scenic country roads, and most of all, spending time with his family.
Ray is preceded in death by his mother, Joyce Rae Greene, and two sisters, Tammy Reiser and Melissa Thompson.
Ray leaves behind to cherish his memory, his father, Charles J. Greene, his children, Devin Greene, Autumn (Aaron) Cogdill, and Candace (Justin) Taylor, his brother, Jeff Greene, as well as 13 grandchildren.
A celebration of life service is planned for Sunday August 30, 2015 at 7:00pm at the Church of God at McMinn County on 2228 County Road 561. The family will be receiving friends one hour prior, from 6:00pm until the 7:00pm service time.
